Bio: archie is very anti social, but unlike his sister rena he has gone to public school his whole life. When he was younger his mother told him stories of how she and her old friend sunset would travel through the secret portals to get here and to the world of ponies. they never told him where it was thinking it safest, but that didnt keep him from looking for years. he gave up around middle school, but his search truely ended when he went into highschool.
He'd gone outside to play his guitar and in his search of a quiet place to play by himself, stumbled upon the portal to the other world. 
he'd ended up in the cantorlot castle being discovered by some of the pony who had been cleaning that room in the palace at the time. he was taken to princess luna, the ruler of equestia.

archtop spoke of his mothers and their stories, luna recognized him as the son of their lost princess sunset shimmer and begged him to stay in hopes of sparking something in the elements of harmony once again. to rule in the place of sunset shimmer. he agreed before realizing he'd have to go back home before he was missing. 
in the night he snuck back home, he told his younger sister golden tears about what had happened and to keep it a secret in case his parents would grow worried.
he began skipping school to return to the pony world in the day and returning home at night.
but once it came to the talk about him taking over the element of magic. All the new elements of harmony were related to the past generations before they went into slumber waiting for new evil to fight and new host to empower.
Arch became nervous in the conversations. his mother was sunet shimmer, but he hadnt her blood, was merely adopted by the family. he still  hasnt told them the truth and trys to live his half life in the pony world without getting caught for his lies.

funfacts:
-he cuts his hair often because it rapidly grows into a long pony like tail.
- archie has a hard time playing guitar in his pony body but loves to practice there during lunches to give himself a challenge.
